Buddy is a 3rd generation product of the Partners Program for the Betterment of the Breed.

Buddy's grandmother, MarMoyes All Dressed Up (Nola) sired by one of the greatest foundation dogs ever, Ch Kai Dens Black Tie Affair, was brought into the Partners Program because of her tremendous potential as a brood bitch to contribute the next generation for the Program.

Nola was bred to Am/Int Carmays Diamond In The Ruff (Mr Boo), who was sired by world renown Ch Langshott Gale Force from Kimvalley (Garry). Mr Boo was also introduced into the Partners Program as a management  and development and stud dog because of his world class pedigree. This litter produced 3 outstanding girls, Merengue, Kaeti and Kiree, all of which are part of the Partners Program for the Betterment of the Breed.

Buddy's mother, Chambrays Merengue at Greenhead was the show pick of the litter and was placed with partner, Andy Gonzalez of Greenhead Labradors as a co-owned show and brood bitch.

Buddy's sire is Int Ch Carmays Duststorm At Chambrays (Dusty), also a "Garry" descendent who also is a co-owned Partners Program dog
