Chapter I ~ Researching, Deciding & Waiting For The Best
In your search for the “right” Labrador Retriever puppy, you diligently researched dozens of Labrador breeders, asking of them all the right questions and hopefully you received the most satisfying answers from most of them. For those that didn’t fit your requirements, you assuredly moved on.
You then narrowed it down to the few breeders that you felt the most comfortable with to make this 12 to 14 year investment of time, energy, emotions and money on.
Through this extensive process of acquiring knowledge you were able to filter out:
Eventually you chose to deal with the one source that met all the criteria of expertise in all aspects dealing with Labrador Retrievers;
From those that you managed to get information from, information that you could use in your decision making process you chose to deal with the real deal:
First of all, there is no website quite like the www.chambraylabradors.com website! No where on the Internet is there a site replete with all types of information about Labradors as this one and only place provides. Whether it is about breeding, raising, nutrition, conditioning and/or training, no one else is as versed or as qualified as the people behind the owner’s programs provided by Chambray Labradors.
You then wisely contacted Chambray Labradors, first through email and then you received an encouraging response about puppy availability and also further information detailing the Puppy Placement Process.
From your extensive research of the website and with the further personal information provided by Chambray, you began to understand why “the best is well worth waiting for”! Due to the tremendous demand for the best available puppies anywhere, there is always a certain amount of people waiting for a Chambray puppy, there is always a waiting list, at times even before the puppies are born, people have positioned themselves on the Reservation Waiting List!
But, before you sent in your deposit, you received an invitation to visit at Chambray Acres for a personal one-on-one with a “live person”, the person behind the most ambitious, and avant garde owner’s program of its kind. Your visit may have coincided with the “free training classes” that comes with each of the Chambray Labradors puppies or you arranged to come by during the weekday for a private 1 hour appointment.
All you ever wanted to know about Labradors and much more was covered in your private session with the authority of the breed, the # 1 breeder of champion Labradors in Florida ever, the one source with 41 years of experience with the breed.
You may have also been invited to come out to one of the nightly training classes. There you were able to meet dozens of owners with their Chambray puppies. You had the opportunity to speak to all of these owners; you were able to get first hand testimonials directly from people that were once in the same position as yourself. You saw the classes in action and from all you saw and heard you made up your mind that this indeed was the place that you wanted your puppy to come from.
After your meeting and conversation with the breeders of Chambray, you decided to get on the Reservation Waiting List for that special addition to your family. You left a $200 check that is fully, 100% refundable if you change your mind, in fact you were instructed that the check is not even cashed or deposited, rather it is kept as a “take a number system” and returned to you the day you pick up your new puppy and provide them with payment in full in the form of a cashiers check!
You patiently waited for your puppy to be born and for the entire litter to be in-home raised and eventually evaluated by the Herzons for both temperament and also for show quality which takes place at 7 week’s of age. You anxiously awaited the email that finally confirms that indeed your puppy may be available for you to come and spend some time with it.
You knew that you had the choice to
If you decided that the puppy being made available to you met with your approval, then it would be ready to go home with you at 8 week’s of age. You then made arrangements to come pick up your puppy and with that you then concluded the first chapter of the puppy owning process.
Chapter II Begins ~ Acquiring, Enjoying & Participating
Taking a Chambray puppy home is the beginning of a lifelong journey that is available to you as a welcomed new owner. You and your puppy become integral members of the largest Labrador Owners Community of its kind in the country with all the one-of-a-kind amenities and owners programs that hundreds have taken advantage of.
There is no other breeder that offers its puppy owners what comes with a one of a kind Chambray puppy. That’s not an idle boast, that’s guaranteed in writing as is every amenity, warrantee, guarantee, training, support system and an endless array of other perks made available to all Chambray puppy owners.
The one of a kind Chambray Support System is in place for any and all questions that come up as soon as the puppy leaves Chambray Acres. Answers are provided through our 41 years of total involvement with Labradors. No need to buy a book when we can write the most comprehensive tome on the subject and that expertise and knowledge is available for the lifetime of the dog through email, phone and in person visitations!
Within a week of the puppy going to its new home, the unique Chambray Puppy Primer Training becomes available for all Chambray-bred dogs for free. This is a special, tailor-made curriculum for puppies 9 weeks to 16 weeks of age. It can be found nowhere else in the country, nor the planet because it was devised right here through our 37 years of professional training dogs and in specific, Labrador Retrievers.
Both the 12-Week Puppy Primer Training Classes in conjunction with the Lifetime Private Training Sessions work hand in hand to achieve the highest degree of a well trained, well-disciplined, well-adjusted puppy possible.
Both the new owner and the puppy become part of the newest class for the betterment of the breed. Many new friendships are established both canine and human through the training class environment. Owners constantly tell us that their puppies know when the training night is and that they both get very excited on their trips to the “farm” for their workout sessions!
For those with Show Quality puppies it doesn’t take long to realize that they have something very special. Everywhere they travel to and visit with their Chambray puppy, vets, groomers, pet store employees, other dog trainers and people in general continuously proclaim and extol the superior quality of the puppy they possess.
It isn’t long before these owners will be encouraged to go further with their puppies. Besides the puppy socialization and show training classes, all owners are encouraged to join in with the CGC training and eventually testing for the AKC’s CGC title. There are fun matches put on by the area clubs where these top of the line show puppies can go strut their stuff with their new owners for both show and also for pre-novice obedience.
Eventually, many of those Chambray puppy owners will receive a special invitation to have their puppy compete at a very special event that comes to Florida twice a year. These are the International Dog Shows put on by the IABCA organization in Orlando Florida.
This is the first of the “prime time” events for the newest class of puppies for Chambray. Those receiving the invitation will also get specialized training to get them ready for the special competition. The International Shows provide each owner to have their puppy evaluated by 4 independent authorities, sanctioned and licensed judges of the breed and have the puppy compared to the breed standard. Those puppies that receive the highest rating for the breed will receive their International Champion’s title in just 1 weekend of competition.
Those owners that chose to take part with Chambray Labradors and the one of a kind Labrador Owners Community soon realize how fortunate they are and how important their puppies are to the breed for the future. They come to understand that their puppy has no limitations on it and that they can participate in any and all activities that are available for Labrador Retrievers anywhere.
