Hoganís Kids are Rocking the House
Am/Int Ch Chambrays Out Of The Ruff (a.k.a. Hogan), has set in motion a seismic wave of epic proportions with his get at the dog show level in Florida. From AKC shows and matches to UKC Best In Shows and champions, to International Shows total win domination, his puppies have set the bar as high as ever seen before by any Florida Labrador stud dog.
It was clearly evident from his first litter with Am/Int Ch Chambrays Chance N Counter (Connie) that there was something special in the air about to create a major commotion with their presence at the Florida matches and then into the rarefied air of the actual AKC dog shows.
Trekking out as 12 week olds to their very first match, it would be Chambrays Charmed N Counter that would set the frenzied pace that was to follow for the next 10 matches throughout Florida. A heightened pace that would carry over into the AKC shows as soon as they were old enough to compete there. Not only did Charm win over her 3 male littermates and others as best Junior Labrador Puppy that first night, she would prance her way through the Sporting Group competition and take her very first Group 1 at the Davie match in the spring of 2007. With the Group 1 win, she would then waltzed her way to a Best Puppy In Match that fateful night, obviously setting the bar as high as it can go at a match.

It would be once again Charm that would set the ground a rumbling with a spectacular Winners Bitch and Best Of Winners for a 3-Point Major at her very first AKC show in Deland as a 7 month old, making her the youngest Chambray dog to ever win a major-pointed show. This win by Charm would start a whirlwind of Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and 3 Best Of Breeds for her, including the incredible Winners Bitch, Best Of Winners & Best Of Breed for a 3-point major to finish her AKC championship in just 9 months of showing, setting Chambray records along the way that may take years to equal or better.
As her sire Hogan before her, Charm was totally handled from the prestigious Bred By Exhibitor Class, this time by Jessica Herzon and will be eligible for the 2008 & 2009 Eukanuba National Championships.
Charm's wins as a puppy at her 1st ever match would set the stage for a record setting run of match wins between her and her littermate brothers, Chambrays Hoganís Hero Rocky & Chambrays Bailey who won Best Labrador Puppy at the following matches and the at Purina Breeders Showcase
∑ Vero Beach (04/07 & Gr. 1),
∑ WPB (07/07 & Gr. 2),
∑ Miami (09/07 & Gr. 1),
∑ Gold Coast (09/07 & Gr. 1),
∑ Ft Lauderdale Octoberfest (10/07 & Gr. 2),

∑ 2007 Orlando Fl PURINA'S BREEDER'S SHOWCASE taking BEST OF BREED LABRADOR PUPPY & a Group 1 at the very prestigious venue December 2007. This awesome win for a Hogan son was made even sweeter when their sire who won Best Labrador Adult, the father and son taking all the breed win awards for the 2007 Showcase.

So a total clean sweep of all 10 matches throughout Florida by Hoganís kids from his first litter, plus International and UKC Best In Shows, however the best was yet to come in the months that followed most of those matches and this would come at the highest levels of conformation competition, the AKC show level.
From the obvious and overwhelming success of the pairing of Hogan and Connie, the breeding was repeated 2 more times producing the 5 Diva Litter (5 females) born in August of 2007 and the Lunar Eclipse litter of 3 boys and 1 girl born in February of 2008.
The 5 Divas Litter is now 11 months old and all have had their glory in the match winner's circle and the Best Puppy competition at the AKC, UKC and International shows.
The 5 Divas

Not all the hoopla and commotion has come from Hoganís pairing with Connie, a Hogan breeding to WinQuest Summer Storm (Olivia) has sent the reel screaming with an unheard of back to back Winners Dog win by Int Baby Ch WinQuest Chambray Storm Warning Cane, making him the youngest Chambray male puppy at 7 monthís of age to win an AKC show and then he repeats the feat the following day! Those 2 improbable, but now in the AKC record book wins occurred at the West Palm Beach shows in July of 2008.

Chambrays Ruff Rider (Trooper from Tampa), Chambrays Lunar N Counter (Cierra at Chambray), Chambrays I Walk The Line (Cash from Jacksonville) and hopefully Chambrays Moonstruck (Striker from NC) may all come back together at the first show of the second half of the Florida 2008 show season.
NEW LITTER UPDATE 07/04/08: A repeat breeding of Hogan and WinQuest Summer Storm produced 3 awesome puppies, 2 of which were placed in show environments. The show female went home with Hogan's owner, Rosie Feeley and she named her Chambrays WinQuest Summer Breeze. A show male was placed with Gilda Baldwin.
Show Update: Both puppies attended the International Shows in Orlando October 18/19 2008. Both attained their Int Baby Champion's title and
Summer Breeze won a BEST IN SHOW PUPPY
What a tremendous tribute to the contributions that Hogan has made to the betterment of the breed with these spectacular puppies and their awesome successes in every venue of competition that they have been in so far in their very short existence. We look forward to the rest of the 2008 shows and can not be more excited about the phenomenal future in store for all of Hoganís babies.
