or Curiosity Kills The Cat Again!

On second thought………………….since I am an animal lover let’s make it………

Curiosity Fools The Cat Again!

The website visitations reached a new 1-day record for Monday March 15th!!!! Over 3,900 visitors for one day breaks the old record by over 900, making this past Monday the most visited day ever  at www.Chambraylabradors.com  eclipsing the old one-day record of 3,098 visitors!

Remember that our daily average for visitors ranges from 700 to 1000, so almost 4 times the daily average and the week is not over yet as the search engines will continue to send searchers to our website as a result of the "hot spot" created by all the hoopla at the forum towards our website!

What drove the statistics to such highs? What would cause a one day spike to overshadow previous highs? What would make people instigate “searches” from search engines with odd sounding names such as Google and Yahoo?

Keeping in mind that Labrador breeder website owners spend thousands upon thousands of dollars for URL pay per view clicks and all of these ‘searchers” came totally gratis courtesy of a very non-courteous persona! Priceless!

Most of the breeders that frequent the forum advertise in every nook and cranny directory, dog lists, chat rooms, forums, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, blogsites and E-billboards and on and on, many pay serious dough for search engine pay per clicks, while Chambray Labradors relies solely on our status as the top Labrador Retriever website on all search engines results without spending a dime in any advertising anywhere!

So what could create a stampede of activity making the website visitor meter to go bonkers? No need for a mastermind sleuth-slayer, no Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Perot needed either for the answer is as simple as they come.

Some whining ninny at the whinny Wiscoy Labrador Retriever forum posted the following:

First they ask the following:

Re: West Palm Beach results?

Any West Palm Beach results?

Then without even thinking of changing their anonymous ID, they answer themselves with the following:

Sorry didn't see the females

Sorry didn’t see the females…………….Obviously omitting the results for the Winners Bitch and Reserve Winners Bitch for Saturday, the simpleton thinking here of course was not to give credit where credit is due…………not to highlight the wins for any of the Chambray dogs!

Once again, priceless advertising for Chambray Labradors and all for free and absolutely with no effort on our part………….driving thousands upon thousands of visitors to our website with something so trivial, yet with plenty of forethought.

However based upon the subsequent publicity for Chambray, completely opposite of what the poster intended …………so “forethought” is replaced with “duh-thought”!

Not surprising as there are those that own a Chambray dog and do not list the Chambray prefix at their websites…………………talk about “duh-thought”……..then they show the dogs at the AKC shows where the dog’s full name appears at www.akc.org and at  www.infodog.com  where those sites receive over a MILLION hits per day and where the search engines pick that up and respond to searches for Labrador information and then send the searchers to www.chambraylabradors.com , talk about priceless advertising!

Anyway here’s the lowdown of what occurred at the shows this weekend:

This past weekend’s dog shows in West Palm Beach gave the girls from Chambray Labradors an opportunity to extend their consecutive winning streak to 5 straight weekends of winning throughout Florida for 2010 and win they did! Chambray Stella’s Desire won back-to-back Winners Bitch, taking the points both Saturday and Sunday with Chambrays Dakota On Board taking Reserve Winners Bitch at Saturday’s show and Chambrays Emerald In The Ruff winning Reserve Winners Bitch on Sunday.

That in itself is not earth-shattering news as this is what has been happening since the first set of shows that Team Chambray ventured to back at the beginning of the New Year at the end of  January 2010 at Ocala.

  • Ocala-01/30 Saturday:
Winners Bitch Chambrays Scarlet & RWB Chambrays Emmy
    Ocala-01/31 Sunday:
Winners Bitch Chambrays Dakota & RWB Chambrays Cher
  • Lakeland 02/19
    Winners Bitch Chambrays Dakota
  • Boca Raton-02/27 (Trifecta #31)
Winners Bitch/BOB Chambrays Scarlet & RWB Chambrays Little Bella PLUS…Winners Dog Chambrays Georgie & RWD Chambrays Cadbury
  • Tallahassee-02/28
Winners Bitch Chambrays Cher & Winners Dog Chambrays Cash
  • West Palm Beach-03/13 Saturday:
Winners Bitch Chambrays Stella & RWB Chambrays Dakota
    West Palm Beach-03/14 Sunday
Winners Bitch Chambrays Stella & RWB Chambrays Emmy

Resounding wins from one end of the state to the other, north to south, east to west the results tell the tale of the tape.

Left alone, these wins would have gone generally unnoticed with the rest of the country’s Labrador Retriever community, yet with one quirky little post at the sometimes wayward chitchat room………………….an explosion of free advertising and publicity avalanches upon our Labrador Retriever website. This gives thousands an opportunity to peruse through the hundreds of informative pages at the website and acquaint themselves with all the unique offerings of our Labrador Owners Community, including the availability of our newest show puppies.

Thank you very much! Let the good times keep rolling along.

PRICELESS INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
